About the book:
“Did we plan the making of this book in advance? No.
Were any specific photographs inspired by specific drawings or specific drawings inspired by specific photographs? Not really.
So, how did we get to this oddly cohesive sequence of drawings and photographs?
We drenched ourselves in the same substance. In other words, for two weeks, we lived in the same cottage and made the same walks in the same landscape.
As such, I would argue that there is a third author, who’s not-so- hidden hand shaped this work: County Donegal, Ireland.”
